01HOW IT WORKS

Nothing to install and no extension to add. Paste a link, search the whole thread, then take the slice you need out as a file. Every screenshot below is this app; the numbered badge marks the element that step uses.

    Paste a link

    Any watch URL, share link or bare 11-character video ID works. The video, its coverage and a real slice of the thread come back straight away — no account, and nothing is saved yet.

  2. STEP 02

    Search the whole thread

    Type a word, a phrase, or the name of the person who wrote it. Matches come back with the hit highlighted, so a 1,000-comment thread reads like a short list.

  3. STEP 03

    Export the slice

    CSV for a spreadsheet, JSON for code. Replies are optional: expand them into the file, or keep one row per comment. The file carries the video ID and expires in 24 hours.

  4. Steps 02 and 03 need a free sign-in; the preview in step 01 does not. Sign in with Google and you land back on the same video with your search still there — no YouTube password is ever asked for.

Five columns, fixed

text · author · likes · replies · published — the same header on every file, so two exports can be concatenated without editing.

Replies, your call

Expand a comment's replies into the file, or keep it flat at one row per comment. It is a switch on the export, not a different tool.

CSV or JSON, 24 hours

The file name carries the video ID, so an export always points back to the thread it came from. Files expire after 24 hours.

No comment database

Every read goes to YouTube live. Your history keeps one entry per video — that row and the file itself are all we hold.

COVERAGE & LIMITS

Clear about what
the data can say.

We use publicly available comments returned through the official YouTube API. Deleted, held, members-only or disabled comments are not included.

  • Source and sync time shown on every result
  • Partial coverage is labelled, never hidden
  • Likes, replies and oldest sort within the loaded page, not the whole thread
  • Comments are never stored on our side — your exports stay private to your account
